Band Czeremosz named after Roman Kumlyk

The band plays temperamental kolomyjki, polkas and chants, which can still be heard from time to time in the Hutsul region, i.e. in the Ukrainian Carpathian Mountains, including the Black Mountain range. To this music Hutsuls still play, dance and feast to this day

Performers of traditional Hutsul music are mainly the best students of the late Master Roman Kumlyk

Roman Kumlyk (1948-2014) – Hutsul musician, poet, creator and manager of the Czeremosz ensemble, founder of the Museum of Hutsul Instruments and Hutsul Culture in Verkhovyna, distinguished for the development of Ukrainian culture, member of the Carpathian Scientific Society in Warsaw

Czeremosz, together with Roman Kumlyk, have given concerts several times a year in various cities in Poland, and also have performances in several other European countries
