Reserve Friday night for the Csángó Festival 2025 in Krakow!

You can’t miss this event. There’s no better place to have fun than at our Csángó 2025 Festival in Krakow. And it doesn’t matter if you’ve never tried Moldvan or Gimes region dances before. There will be time to learn the dances before the crazy dance party. But let’s start from the beginning.

On Friday, October 10, the Csángó 2025 Festival kicks off under the beautiful name Between the Vistula and the Danube. It is organized in cooperation with the Seweryn Udziela Ethnographic Museum and the ROZSTAJE Association: at the Crossroads of Cultures and Traditions. This event is unique in many ways. It is the fruit of a thousand-year-old Polish-Hungarian friendship, the flourishing of the Dance Houses movement, and the preservation of traditional culture. Together, we dance, make music, sing, cook, and enjoy each other’s company. We do everything that gives life meaning.

The Krakow program mainly consists of dance workshops. You will be able to test your new skills right after the lesson, during a joint dance party.
Don’t worry, everyone will find their place here, because all you need is a positive attitude. And even if you forget the steps, the rhythm of the csángó melodies will guide you perfectly in your own improvisation. Comfortable shoes will also come in handy at the party. It is worth wearing a light shirt or blouse, skirt or dress. You will also need your own water bottle. Even though it is almost mid-October, it will be hot. We welcome people of all ages, regardless of their fitness level. We are also open to people with special needs. If you are one of them, please let us know in advance.
